it is a community located 50km from checheche bordering zimbabwe and mozambique, in their craziest of dreams the community never dreamt of a day they will switch on lights from structured electrical distribution system in decades to come. through the UNDP-CAWEP project they are transformed to a morden community, with reliable solar power, biogas digesters, piped water, solar street lighting. the desert of has been transformed to an ocean of fresh water endless possibilities.

this is a transformational story for a marginalized community of HAKWATA, from dark nights to no electricity outages at all..
